Learn how to use Contact Tags in ClickFunnels.
Why you would need this
You would tag contacts in ClickFunnels if you wanted to segment those contacts in the future or grant specific permissions to access membership areas with certain tags.
What you will need
There are 4 methods for adding tags to your contacts.
Step 1 Create an Email Integration
Please Note multiple tags can be added by separating each tag with a comma.
- Select your funnel page/step where you are collecting the email address.
- Click on Edit Page.
- Hover your mouse over Settings.
- Click on Integrations.
- Select Actionetics from the Integration drop-down.
- Select Add Tag from the Action drop-down.
- Enter your tag in the Tag field.
Step 2 Create an Automation
- Select your funnel page/step where you are collecting the email address.
- Click on the Automation Tab.
- Click Add New Action.
- Enter the Name of your action.
- The Condition is set to Everyone by default.
- The Integration is ClickFunnels Internal by default.
- Select Add Tag from the Action To Do drop-down.
- Click on the Action Delay tab.
- Enter the # of Days Before Action Happens. [Optional]
- Enter the # of Hours Before Action Happens. [Optional]
- Click on Create Funnel Action.
Step 3 Create An Action Funnel Step
- Click on Add New Step.
- Select the Do Action Trigger.
- Click on Setup Now.
- Enter the Name of the Action.
- Select Actionetics from the Integration drop-down.
- Select Add Tag from the Action To Do from the drop-down.
- Enter Tags.
- Click on Update Funnel Action.
Step 4 Add Tag Using A Follow-Up Funnel
- Add a step to a Follow-Up Funnel.
- Select Actionetics from the Integrations.
- Select Add Tag from the Action To Do from the drop-down.
- Enter Tags.
- Click on Update Funnel Action.
