This article will teach you how to remove the funnels and funnel steps you don't need to make room for the new ones when you are at a limit. It can sometimes happen that you have created so many funnels or funnel steps that you are not allowed to create any new ones until you free some space. This article explains how to remedy that situation.
What you will need:
Step 1: Deleting Funnels to Reduce your Funnel Limit
- Navigate to the funnel you wish to delete.
- In the funnel's top navigation menu, head to the right and click "Settings."
- Scroll all the way down to the bottom of your settings page.
- On the bottom left, click "Archive Funnel."
- The funnel will now begin the archive process. Proceed to archive as many funnels as needed.
- Once complete, your funnel count will drop according to the number of funnels you archived.
Important note: The changes you make (archiving funnels or deleting funnel steps) will not display in your account dashboard right away. You will have to give the system 20-30 minutes to update the information on the servers. If you notice that after this time the number of the funnels/pages does not update, log out of your ClickFunnels account and log back in to refresh your server connection.
Step 2: Delete Pages to Lower Your Page Count
- Navigate to the page(s) you wish to delete.
- In the bottom right of the funnel, you'll see a button to "Delete Funnel Step."
- Click on the "Delete Funnel Step" button.
- In the popup option, click "OK."
Note: If you delete a funnel step by accident, you can restore it by following these directions.

Very helpful, thanks
I want to make sure I fully understand. So if I build a funnel and I want to remove it because I am limited to the number of funnels that I build, I can archive it and so long as I dont restore it, that will not count towards my total funnels.
Hi Dennis
That is correct yes.
My funnel steps are not being archived. It says "Archiving funnel was added to queue," but it doesn't archive even after hours. I've tried logging out and back in. Funnels are still not being archived.
Daniel, I have the exact same problem. Did you happen to solve it ??
