Learn to add a new page to your ClickFunnels WordPress plugin. With the plugin used, you can add a funnel step from ClickFunnels directly into your WordPress site, which can be helpful for those who wish to use WordPress while still keeping the same domain for ClickFunnels.
Important Note: This should only be done with funnels that are on your ClickFunnels subdomain. If you have assigned a custom domain to your funnel in ClickFunnels, you should not connect with WordPress in this way.
What you will need
Step 1: Add Your Funnel Step Into WordPress
- Click Add New on the Plugin's menu.
- Under Choose Page Type, select Regular Page.
- Under Choose Funnel, select the funnel you wish to connect.
- Under Choose Step, pick out the funnel page in the funnel you want.
- Assign a Custom Slug (this will be your page path that appears after your domain; i.e. www.domain.com/slug).
- Click Save Page.
Important Note: You will be unable to connect certain page types to WordPress due to extra security. Specifically: order forms, membership areas, membership access, affiliate areas, and affiliate access pages will not work when connected to WordPress you can also have issues if you have a domain added to your funnel in its funnel settings.
Troubleshooting Tips
Important Note: If you receive an error in ClickFunnels that says "No Page matching this path found", double check to make sure you didn't update the funnel step URL. Updating the funnel step URL inside of ClickFunnels will break the WP-CF connection and you will have to recreate the page for it to work correctly.
