What is a Proration?
A Proration is a proportional distribution between two separate subscriptions.
When a customer’s subscription is changed mid-billing cycle, the change takes effect immediately but the billing date does not change. This causes the charge to look differently from before as the charge is split between two subscriptions for the 30 day period. The billing is pro-rated according to the plan change and the difference of the plan change is added to the next month's bill.

How to Know if you will have a Proration?
Whenever you attempt to upgrade or downgrade your account during your billing cycle, it will result in a proration for your next billing.
There will be a notification block for a proration whenever you are toggling or changing your subscription.
You will also see the prorated differences on your next payment receipt. "Unused time" is the amount from the subscription plan you were on previously. "Remaining time" is the amount from the new subscription plan you changed it to.
