Question: Why are my tracking numbers different in ClickFunnels? Why don't the tracking numbers match in Facebook and ClickFunnels?
You are seeing a huge discrepancy of information in ClickFunnels compared to your third-party stats (Facebook, Google or other company)
It starts off by understanding the way tracking codes (like Facebook, Google, etc) track and how their algorithms are set up or triggered which is very different than our own.
For example - Facebook tracks shares, views, likes, comments, they even track a regular click, and don't even wait if the user fully loads the page.
So oftentimes with ad trackers, it appears to be more visitors and optins than what you are actually getting. ClickFunnels tracks by tracking the unique user that physically lands on the page and they see the page load. Even if someone unique lands on your page, but did not wait for the page to load, then our system does not consider that as a visitor.
Also, if a contact optins twice using the same email, our system will delete the duplicate contact, thus showing as just one unique visitor inside of ClickFunnels.
There are many commonly used stats that are tracked differently than in ClickFunnels. That is why the numbers may appear differently from application to application.
