How Can I Integrate A Slide Carousel Into My Funnel?
Question: How Can I Integrate A Slide Carousel Into My Funnel?
Answer:
Although an image slide carousel isn't a native function of the ClickFunnels tool suite, ClickFunnels can work with third-party coding integrations to use non-native tools. There are a variety of third-party services that offer slide carousel functions, and which would allow you to use it them in your funnel, with a little custom code.
You can find a number of different third-party integrations that might be the right fit for your business. Although this is by no means a comprehensive list, a few such integrations are as follows:
- Fotorama
- Slick
- MultiSlider
Other options are also available.
For the purposes of demonstrating how this custom code would be added to your funnel, the following example uses the Fotorama custom code as a reference.
1. You can find the plug-in code on the set-up page for Fotorama. The instructions found upon this page indicate that some of the code (in the top box) is intended to go into the Header, and that some of the code (in the bottom indicated box) is intended to go into the body of your website.
For the purposes of installing the body code, you will want to put this into a Java/HTML Element, as this will allow you to place the image carousel where on your page you desire.
2. Placing the header code in the header can be done from the page editor. You can reach the correct location by going to the editor for the page in question, selecting the Settings drop-down menu, and selecting Tracking Code.
You can then paste the code marked for the header in the 'Header' section of this area.
3. For the body section of the code, you will wish to put this in the HTML/Javascript element. You can find this under the 'elements' section in your funnel editor.
Dragging and dropping this element where you wish to place the carousel, and then placing the code within, will allow you to place the carousel on the page.
By editing the body code, you can select the image references that will be used within the carousel. It is strongly recommended that you host these images on ClickFunnels, and if not, then to ensure that the hosting sources that you are using are using HTTPS secured protocols.
