How to offer specific OTO/Upsell products based on initial product selection on the first Order Page?

Being able to offer specific OTO/Upsell products to customers based on what they purchased first is a great way to customize your offers and buying experience. However, the system does not have a way to determine what should be offered based on the initial purchase.

In this guide, you will learn a simple workaround that will allow you to do exactly that.

Since the system does not have a current way to only show specific OTO offers based on initial purchases, as a workaround, you will want to create unique purchase scenarios.

Creating unique purchase scenarios: 
What do we mean by "scenarios"? You will want to have individual Order Pages for each main product that you offer instead of creating all the products on a single Order Page/Form. 

Once you create each Order Page, you will want to create individual OTO/Upsell Pages and place each one under the related Order Page. Then do the same with Order Confirmation Pages. Here's an example: 


Sending buyers to the "Scenarios": 
Once you have created the scenarios, you will want to copy the URL to each Order Page/Step and paste each one in individual buttons on the main Sales Page. The Sales Page will come before the Order Pages/Scenarios. 

To paste the Order Page URL into a button, set the button action to "Goes to website URL" and be sure to have it open in the same window as such: 



Be sure to click Save after making the changes. 

Important: It is crucial that you have an Order Confirmation Step at the end of each scenario. Doing so, allows the buying sequence to end and prevents buyers from landing on unrelated Order Pages.
